In order to create an enhanced voice and data communications solution for military and professional users, Selex has integrated MaxTech’s mobile mesh technology into its WiMax and TETRA radio devices.

Selex’ military and professional users required a handheld radio communications device that would provide groups of users with unlimited mobility and coverage without the need for an infrastructure. MaxTech’s technology enables the creation of an ad-hoc, self-routing mobile network, with high quality voice, data and video communications together with simultaneous connectivity to external networks.
